(PHOTOS) LOCKDOWN: Lagos State Chapel Donates Palliatives

The Lagos State Chapel of Christ the Light, CCTL, has donated palliative packages to the less privileged within the Alausa and Agindingbi communities of the State.

The Interdenominational church which was built by government as a common place of worship for all Christians in Lagos, distributed food items to poor households on Wednesday in partnership with the Sir Joshua Okeowo foundation.

Distribution of the packages to about 50 households was executed by the Welfare Committee of the Chapel led by Bro Kenny Ayodele

Ayodele said the gesture was aimed at cushioning the effect of the lockdown occasioned by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, especially on the less privileged

It is not the first time the Chapel will be reaching out to the the vulnerable in the society since the beginning of the Lockdown as welfare materials in form of food stuffs and cash had been distributed in the past.

The Lagos State Government had also distributed some stimulus packages to the vulnerable in the Christian community through the Chapel,

Similarly, the Sir Joshua Okeowo had so far reached out to about 400 families through the Lagos State Chapel since the beginning of the lockdown.
