Valencia over powered Real Madrid 4-1 in Laliga match day 9 on Sunday in a night filled with drama and penalties at the Mestalla.

Soler’s treble – the first from a Valencia player in the top flight since September 2017 – was added to by an own goal from Raphael Varane, who deflected Maxi Gomez’s cross beyond Thibaut Courtois.
Madrid’s goalkeeper had initially saved Valencia’s first penalty, which was retaken due to an infringement from Yunus Musah.
It was also the first time a Madrid team under Zinedine Zidane’s had conceded more than four goals.
The French manager has however taken full responsibility for his side’s big loss and refused to use missing players as a reason for it
Apart from the horrific showing at the Mestalla last night; Cadiz, Shakhtar Donetsk, the first half against Borussia Monchengladbach and the second half against Inter Milan all summarizes Real Madrid’s fall of the 2020-2021 season has been anything but steady, but at times, they have looked brilliant in spite of the tough losses and the injuries.
