Reports reaching us say, a retired Chief of Administration of Nigerian Navy has died in Abuja in the early hours of Thursday morning as a result of COVID-19 complications
Admiral Joe Aikhomu, was a serially-decorated Admiral well-versed in maritime operations and logistics, with special reference to the waters of the Gulf of Guinea.
Aikhomu, who clocked 65 last year was until his death a Director in Ocean Marine Solutions (OMS) owned by Captain Hosa Okunbo.
He was conferred with a traditional title by the Okaijesan of Esanland and Ojirrua of Irrua, HRH Alhaji W.O. Momodu JP in August 2020.
