COVID-19: Nigeria Vaccinates 122,410

Amidst global controversies trailing the effects of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine,  a total of 122,410 Nigerians have been administered with doses since the national launch of the exercise on 5 March in Abuja.

Giving an update on the ongoing vaccination across the country, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 Control on Monday clarified that none of those who got their first jabs of the vaccine have been down with severe adverse reactions

According to the PTF, there have only been isolated cases of mild pain and fever at the scene of vaccination.

The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib also listed Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo and Kogi as the four states where vaccination had not be rolled out,

However, Zamfara and Kebbi states later kicked off the exercise on Monday
