JUST IN: Resident Doctors Suspend Strike

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended the strike which it began on 1 April after reaching an agreement with the government.

President of the association, Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi noted on Saturday evening that the decision to suspend the strike came after the signing of a new agreement with the federal government, concerning issues raised in NARD’s 13-point demand.
