In the soulful message posted across social media platforms, Awosika described ‘Mummy Rosula’ as she is fondly called, as a humble role model, a mentor, a mother of nations, a heroine, a shining example and a personification of kindness.
But the journalist is not the only one who has been pouring encomiums on Princess Osula-Atu as many of her fans, followers, admirers, mentees, beneficiaries as well as family and friends have ‘bombarded’ the official Facebook page of Rosula Foundation to express their love and admiration for her.
Below is Awosika’s birthday message to Princess Osula-Atu
“It was during the lockdown occasioned by the outbreak of the coronavirus that I got a call from Princess Rosemary Hadessah Osula-Atu.
Her self-funded foundation, Rosula foundation was sharing food to 52 locations spread across the local government areas in Lagos and they wanted us to cover it.
It didn’t matter the distance from Epe to Badagry, she just wanted to cushion the effects of the lockdown on people by delivering a well-stuck pack of food items to thousands of Nigerians on a daily basis.
And it didn’t matter who introduced me to her nor that we had actually never met; the passion to put smiles on people’s faces won’t let her bother about that.
As our relationship grew, I discovered how much of an amazing person Mummy Rosula is. While many in her category are busy concerning themselves with many other frivolities, mama is busy building lives, sowing into futures of many young people and offering hope to many who are troubled.
Her humility shocks me! The rate and speed at which she forgives is unusual.
Mummy, you are role model, a mentor, a mother of nations, a heroine, a shining example and a personification of kindness.
Thank you for all you do.
May the peace and unending Joy of God be with you as you celebrate another year.
Happy birthday mummy.
