Residents Cry Out As Almat Farm Throws Kuje Community Into Darkness

Residents of Kuje Town in Abuja are currently in darkness after the community’s infrastructure were destroyed by the management of Almat farm under the physical supervision of its owner; Mr. Maurice Ekpo.

This act which was carried out in broad day light came as a shock to the community which is now appealing to the general public to join their voices until the news gets to the appropriate authority.

A resident of the community, Godwin Ajibola, explained that although he doesn’t know what really caused the demolition of the electrical poles but he was present at the scene where he saw Maurice Ekpo the owner of Almat farm and also the operator making use of excavator to pull down the poles.

Ajibola further stated that the poles are not in the compound or on the land of Almat farms,

He therefore called for help to safeguard their community infrastructure from further destruction.

Another eyewitness, identified simply as Suleiman also said he qas present at the scene when an excavator was used to pull down the poles.

This singular act has left residents and neighbours of the entire community in darkness.
