THANKSGIVING: Crown Foundation Showers Ojodu Residents With Cash, Gifts

More than 150 residents of Ojodu Local Council Development Area were showered with Cash and gifts as a non-governmental organization, Crown Foundation celebrated its annual Thanksgiving anniversary.

The residents who were randomly selected and subsequently invited to a gathering at the– Excellence Hotel, received 2.5kg bags of rice, 750 ml of Groundnut oil and cash gifts each.

Speaking at the event on Wednesday, Chairman and Founder of Crown Foundation, Mr. Olufemi Awoseye noted that his desire is to see people who are down trodden smiling.

Mr. Awoseye further stated that he is motivated by the resolve of his mentor, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Member, House Of Representives for Ikeja Federal Constituency to keep helping people and therefore will not stop assisting the less priviledged

The former councilor of Ward A, Ojodu LCDA, Hon Olatunji Kogbodoku JP described Mr. Awoseye as a blessing to Ojodu LCDA and Nigerians in general and expressed gladness that ‘Crown’ was already following in the footsteps of Rt. Hon Faleke.

In similar tones, the Founder and CEO of Kaffy Foundation, Mrs Kafayat Omowunmi Oluwafunmilayo said he has known Mr. Awoseye for decades adding that he always had a desire to see people happy.

Beneficiaries of the Crown Foundation Annual thanksgiving cash and gifts were also full of praises for the Chairman of the foundation.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Foundation gave out N10,000 to four randomly selected petty traders around Oke-Ira area of the Ojodu LCDA during a surprise tour and promise to continue the exercise around the Ojodu LCDA to support petty traders to improve their businesses.
