Ikeja Youths Troop Out For Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, Faleke

Ikeja Youths turned out en masse on Saturday 27th of August, to demonstrate their support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The rains did not stop the determined youths from participating in the much-talked about 100,000-Man-Walk for Tinubu/Sanwoolu/Faleke, which was organized by the Coalition of Ikeja Youths.

From under the bridge in Ikeja at exactly 9.00am after the distribution of souvenirs to participants, the walk proceeded to Allen roundabout, and then to Opebi link bridge to Kudirat Abiola way, down to Awolowo way, to Agindingbi and terminated at Omole roundabout at around noon.

Notable personalities that took part in the walk include Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu {ARK}, representing Ikeja Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly-also seeking a third term, as well as the incumbent Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Hon Oladotun Olakanle, Vice- Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, and other top-notch of APC, within Ikeja LGC, Onigbongbo and Ojodu LCDAs, were not left out in the action.

Speaking with seunawosika.com Hon. Richard Adedamola Kasunmu noted that the youths of Ikeja have made a very bold statement about their intentions for the forthcoming elections.
He further encouraged the Coalition of Ikeja youths not to relent in their efforts adding that such events will help mobilize more residents for Asiwaju and also encourage participation in next year’s elections.

Spokesman for the Coalition, Olalekan Oni also expressed satisfaction with the huge turnout of the youths and assured that there will be more of such events to gather support for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu and Faleke when campaign begins in September.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the All Progressive Congress {APC}, Presidential Candidate, while Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu is seeking a second term as the governor of Lagos State and  Hon James Abiodun Faleke is returning as the Federal House of Representatives for the Ikeja Federal Constituency.
