HINT: Lagos State Government Plans Clamp Down On Road Side Traders

Lagos State Government

Information reaching us from impeccable sources say the Lagos State government will soon begin the process of clamping down on traders who set up markets on road lay-bys.

The claim is that the indiscriminate display of goods for sale on lay-by of roads meant for human traffic leads to an obstruction in vehicular traffic

Traders who sell on lay-bys, bus-stops and unauthorised road markets are hereby advised to immediately relocate their goods and shops to escape the clampdown or any other further punishment that may arise from such.

Furthermore, hints from the Lagos State Ministry of Transport suggests that the Permanent Secretary in that ministry, Engr. Gbolahan Abdulazeez Toriola have held a meeting with all Transport unions warning all their members to immediately decease from indiscriminate pick-up and drop-off of passengers on Lagos roads.

We will give more update on this soon as we get an official confirmation from the Ministry of Transport.
